GRC Specialist (Archer IRM)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Archer IRM Expert with 4-5 years of hands-on experience to join our team. This role requires expertise in the installation, configuration, and integration of Archer IRM (Integrated Risk Management) solutions, as well as strong functional knowledge of risk management and compliance processes. You will play a key role in implementing Archer IRM to enhance the organization’s ability to manage risk, ensure compliance, and streamline governance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Archer IRM Installation & Configuration:
    • Lead and manage the installation and configuration of Archer IRM solutions for risk management and compliance processes.
    • Configure Archer applications/modules (e.g., Risk Management, Compliance Management, Incident Management, Audit Management) to meet the organization’s specific needs.
    • Customize workflows, dashboards, and reports in Archer to ensure optimal user experience and functionality.
  • Archer IRM Integration:
    • Integrate Archer IRM with other infra monitoring and cyber security tools  to streamline data flows and ensure seamless risk and compliance management.
    • Configure data import/export routines and interfaces with other tools (e.g., third-party risk management applications, databases, SIEM systems).
    • Integrate Archer IRM with other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, ServiceNow, Splunk) to streamline data flow and reporting.
    • Customize Archer applications and workflows to meet specific business needs.
    • Develop and maintain data feeds, questionnaires, and surveys within Archer.
    • Work with stakeholders to identify integration requirements and ensure that Archer IRM supports cross-functional needs.
    • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Archer IRM and GRC-related queries.
  • Risk & Compliance Functional Knowledge:
    • Provide subject matter expertise on best practices for risk management, compliance, and governance.
    • Help design and implement workflows for risk assessments, incident tracking, audit management, and compliance reporting.
    • Support business teams in leveraging Archer for risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to improve compliance processes and implement continuous risk monitoring and reporting solutions
  • User Support & Training:
    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for users of the Archer IRM platform.
    • Train end-users on how to effectively use Archer for risk and compliance management, ensuring they understand key functionalities.
    • Create and maintain training materials, documentation, and user guides for Archer IRM solutions.
  • System Administration & Maintenance:
    • Perform system updates, patching, and troubleshooting for the Archer platform.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to monitor system performance, ensure uptime, and troubleshoot technical issues.
    • Participate in the release management process, including version upgrades and new feature rollouts.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards for risk management and compliance metrics within Archer.
    • Ensure that data entered into the Archer system is accurate, timely, and aligned with internal governance policies.
    • Support internal audits and assessments by providing system logs, reports, and evidence of compliance efforts.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of GRC processes and Archer configurations.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and Archer IRM updates.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications in Archer IRM, Risk Management, or Compliance (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CGEIT).
  • Familiarity with IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001).
  • Experience with cloud-based Archer implementations or hybrid environments.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as GDPR, SOX, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, XML, or other data query languages for reporting and integration.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in GRC automation and risk management.
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Archer IRM (installation, configuration, and customization).
    • Strong understanding of GRC frameworks (e.g., COSO, COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST).
    • Experience with regulatory compliance programs (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Archer IRM Control Panel, Archer Data Feed Manager, and Archer APIs.
    • Knowledge of databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and web servers (IIS, Apache).
    • Experience with integration tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Archer Certified Administrator (ACA) or Archer Certified Professional (ACP).
  • Certifications in GRC or risk management (e.g., CRISC, CGEIT, CISSP).
  • ITIL, PMP, or other relevant certifications.
